Marco is a research and communications analyst by day, a data extractor by night, weekends and holidays. He works at Bantay Kita / Publish What Pay Philippines and has a keen interest in how the use of technology can address community issues related to the oil, gas and mining industries. As a PWYP data extractor, he works to ensure that data works for communities by enabling them to use project-level data and link that information to their own needs. At the same time, he aims to give key stakeholders in the extractive industries a better understanding of the issues that communities affected by extractive activities face.
