Jed Miller

Jed Miller is an Internet strategist focused on open government, human rights and the effective of adoption of digital media by NGOs. He currently consults with the Open Society Foundations, Global Witness and the Transparency and Accountability Initiative, among other groups. He was previously Internet director for the Revenue Watch Institute, and continues to help manage RWI’s open data projects. He has also served as Internet director for the American Civil Liberties Union and as interactive editor at NYTimes.com, where he oversaw reader discussions including forums for the Pulitzer-winning 2000 series on race in America. Jed has taught digital communications at SIPA at Columbia University and is a founding contributor to Personal Democracy Forum.
