The report covers the development and first year of implementation of the action plan from May 2016 through July 2017.
In Italy, the IRM researchers Lorenzo Segato, Nicola Capello, and Veronika Gamper’s report findings are summarized below:
“Italy took steps forward in opening and strengthening its stakeholder consultation process through establishing the Open Government Forum. “L’Italia ha compiuto passi avanti nell’apertura e nel rafforzamento del processo di consultazione degli stakeholder istituendo l’Open Government Forum. Benché le azioni riguardassero temi prioritari quali la normativa FOIA, il lobbismo e gli open data, la maggior parte delle azioni ha conseguito risultati modesti. Concentrandosi su un numero minore di riforme più incisive si potrebbero migliorare sia la portata che l’attuazione del prossimo Plano d’Azione.”
