Writing for the Open Government Partnership blog

You are the experts. So why not write for the OGP blog?

We are looking for articles of between 200-400 words, but we can be flexible. We don’t ask that you write specifically about the Open Government Partnership but at a minimum, write on a topic relevant to one or more of the following themes: open government, citizen participationAccording to OGP’s Articles of Governance, citizen participation occurs when “governments seek to mobilize citizens to engage in public debate, provide input, and make contributions that lead to m... More, transparencyAccording to OGP’s Articles of Governance, transparency occurs when “government-held information (including on activities and decisions) is open, comprehensive, timely, freely available to the pub... More, accountability, open data and the technology helping to drive the open movement.

We also value contributions that help generate debate in the form of follow-up articles, comments and social media engagement. You could be from a civil society organisation, a government, a legislature, a civil service, the media or a business.

We are particularly interested in examples of open government in action. Case studies could show how initiatives are benefiting people’s lives, helping to provide better and more efficient public services or supporting economic growth.

All published blogs feature a banner image, so send a high-quality image along with your written content – but please check that you have permission from the copyright holder. Graphics and other visual content can also be included in the blog. Please note that we require photos to be a minimum size of 960x365px. In order to add you as blogger, please send us a picture of yourself and a short biography.
