Kate Lasso

Kate joined the Open Government Partnership in July 2017. With over 30 years of non profit management experience, Kate previously served as the Director of Finance at the Consumer Health Foundation. Prior to that appointment, Kate was the Finance Director for Namati, promoting legal empowerment in disadvantaged communities across the globe. Other positions include working for IMPACT Silver Spring, the Academy for Educational Development, Free the Slaves and Planning Assistance. Kate holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and an M.A. in International Relations from American University in Washington, D.C. She earned a Bachelor’s in Economics from Miami University of Ohio.
