Propose a talk on Empowering Citizens for the OGP Summit Speakers’ Stand
With the OGP Summit rapidly approaching, we’re looking for people interested in giving quick fire talks on empowering citizens at the Speakers’ Stand in the Summit’s Festival space.
During the Festival portions of the Summit the Speakers’ Stand will host quick fire talks on each of the themes of the Summit: open dataBy opening up data and making it sharable and reusable, governments can enable informed debate, better decision making, and the development of innovative new services. We, at Involve, have been asked to organise and facilitate the session on empowering citizens, which will take place on the second day of the Summit (Friday 1 November) from 1pm to 2pm. So, we’re looking for people propose quick talks (3 to 5 minutes) on a project, issue, challenge, question, concern or inspiration linked to empowering citizens.

Please be aware that, depending on the level of interest, it may be that we can’t fit everybody in – though we’ll do our best to include as many people as possible.
