Plan de acción de OGP 2018 – 2020, compromiso 14
Actualmente, muchos ciudadanos de Indonesia enfrentan barreras para acceder a la justicia, lo cual es consecuencia de la falta de presupuesto nacional para la asistencia legal, del aumento en la cantidad de casos legales, de la baja calidad y poca disponibilidad de servicios de la Organización de Asistencia Legal y de la falta de conocimiento por parte de las comunidades. Para abordar estos retos, la Agencia Nacional de Desarrollo de Leyes ampliará las regulaciones de las ciudades y las provincias para garantizar el apoyo del gobierno para la asistencia legal, incrementar y mejorar los servicios legales a través de la Organización de Asistencia Legal y sensibilizar a los ciudadanos sobre sus derechos legales a través de programas educativos. Además, la Agencia establecerá un centro legal comunitario en el que la gente podrá acceder a información. El gobierno espera que estas medidas mejorarán los niveles de satisfacción reportados por los beneficiarios de los servicios de asistencia legal.
