Catalonia joined OGP as part of the 2020 cohort. They are currently implementing five commitments from their 2021-2023 action plan.
This action plan features commitments related to gender, anti-corruption, open data and citizen participation.

OGP To Support Ukrainian Communities By Strengthening Local Governance

On 11 October 2022, the CEO of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Sanjay Pradhan, the Director of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Rafael Benitez, and the Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC) Oleksandr Slobozhan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support in the reconstruction of Ukrainian communities after Russia’s full-scale invasion.
