Mercedes joined OGP in June 2022. She supports the execution of the OGP Local strategy, including onboarding and managing members, preparing learning activities, and facilitating the community of practice.

Before joining OGP, Mercedes worked as a Project Manager in the Buenos Aires Open Government team where she was leading the integration of participative components within the City’s Climate Action Platform. Mercedes has also worked on communications and transparency at the Argentinian Chamber of Deputies where she led the publication of administrative information in accordance with the national Access to Information Law.

Mercedes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication from Austral University, a Postgraduate Degree in Design and Evaluation of Public Policies from Pompeu Fabra University, and an MBA in International Business Management and Innovation from the Barcelona Executive Business School (BEBS).
