Co-Creation Process

Collaboration between government, civil society and other stakeholders (e.g., citizens, academics, private sector) is at the heart of the OGP process. Participating governments must ensure that a diversity of voices can meaningfully participate and shape commitments. This collaborative process of developing OGP action plans is referred to as co-creation. The OGP Participation and Co-Creation Standards set out specific expectations for this process, such as setting up a forum for ongoing dialogue and providing documentation on an online repository.
