Online Applications to Achieve Minimum Service Standards for Pregnant Women

The commitment is verifiable. The application for pregnant women can be identified and measured based on the number of users and the quality of services that pregnant women receive.

This commitment supports positive change and health service improvements. The application for pregnant women is to achieve the minimum service standard for pregnant women which prevents maternal and infant death. The minimal service standard did not run successfully because of the pandemic situation. The other obstacles include the limitation of data about pregnant women having high or low risk by midwives and low access to the health centers in an emergency by pregnant women.

The commitment results in a change of the practices in serving pregnant women which improves the standard service minimal achievements. The commitment not only improves the relationship between citizens but also between citizens and the government. It improves the citizen’s trust in the government because this commitment is helpful for them and their personal data is protected by using the application.

No specific changes are needed. If any it will be more evenly distributed services that will cover all levels of society.

2. Commitment :

Community-Based Participatory Waste Management

2.1 Is the commitment verifiable?

This commitment can be verified and measured from the implementation of 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) activities at the household level in the city of Luwuk as the regency capital, but throughout 2022 these activities were halted due to the COVID pandemic.

This commitment has relevant to OGP values including:

  • Participation; commitment to involve urban households and families in a participatory manner whereby 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) waste management is a new source of income to increase economic needs. This commitment involves all communities and related institutions to manage waste directly from the source while maintaining environmental sustainability.

One Data Banggai is an ongoing practice in line with the national policies which will achieve integrated data in Indonesia. Integrated data can fulfill the data needs of a government organization and its citizens. The website enables them to access all information about Banggai regency easily in one place. This commitment supports the implementation of transparency and accountable value through data publication which shows how the rules are running. Data published by the government also enables citizens to participate in government by sending feedback through the website which also enables the government and citizens indirectly collaborate with each other. This reason covers the participation and collaboration values.

These activities are facilitated by the government’s assistance fund used for cultivation activities in the yard. Citizens not only can fulfill nutrition for their families but also earn money from selling harvests after accomplishing their food needs.

This commitment enables citizens to maximize their limitation capacity correctly (they have yards but have no funds, they have yards but have fewer ideas to employ their yards) by collaborating with the government. This commitment also supports citizens to participate directly in government programs by executing the agricultural, fishery, and farm activities referring to how the program is implemented. This commitment also supports the government in achieving inclusive value by covering the citizen needs as one of the government plan’s aims. Accountability and transparency values can be accomplished by actively reporting the progress of commitment implementation on the internet or mass media.
