ACTION PLAN
- 11 OGP Local members delivered their first action plan: Corrientes (City), Argentina; Cartagena de indias, Colombia; Asturias, Spain; Žilina (Region), Slovak Republic; Hamburg, Germany; Valencian Community, Spain; Novi Pazar, Serbia; Detmold, Germany; Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Ghana; Carthage, Tunisia and Tétouan (Municipality), Morocco. - The new plan by Comunitat Valenciana was highlighted in local media.
- Explore an analysis on Detmold and Hamburg’s action plan.
- Georgian municipalities engaged in the co-creation of their OGP action plans and Ozurgeti Municipality applied the Council of Europe innovative methodology “CivicLab” to organize OGP public consultations.
ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
- The city of Contagem, Brazil celebrated the International Anti-Corruption Day.
- Innovation Lab organized by SEGIB (the Ibero-American General Secretariat) took place in Montevideo, Uruguay. OGP Local participated along with the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation, BrazilLAB, IDB Lab, the National Agency of Research and Innovation and other stakeholders, to identify obstacles and solutions to innovate in the public sector.
- OGP was invited to open the 3rd Open Government and SDGs Forum by the Government of the Canary Islands.
- The 21st edition of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy conference took place in the city of Grenoble, France.
- Citizens in Cartagena, Colombia shared strategies against corruption.
- “Easy cooking to participate“, Guide to encourage the participation of people from social entities by the European Anti-poverty Network in the Basque Country.
- OGP´s Rosario Pavese and Carolina Cornejo were in Ecuador last week on a country visit, within their activities they had the chance to meet with OGP Local member Quito´s team.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Open Data Week 2023 will take place March 11-18 in New York City, United States. Submit your proposal for events during the festival until Dec 21st.
