Kai is the executive director of Network of Estonian Non-profit Organizations, an advocacy organization focusing on a sustainable civic space, CSOs capacity building and civic awareness. NENO is an umbrella organization with a variety of different members, meaning the team and its director need to be competent in different areas of work.
Kai is a mission driven professional with a diverse background from both the private and public sector. She has previously worked for The National Institute for Health Development as a project manager. She has worked on international cooperation in Estonian Debating Society. Kai is an experienced project manager with a demonstrated history of working with different target groups and areas from health to education. Skilled in nonprofit organizations, critical thinking, and business process improvement. Certified trainer, coach, and management professional with a master’s degree from Tartu University. She is currently enrolled in her second master studies in behavioral sciences.
She is also involved with different initiatives like the Democracy Festivals, the Open Government Partnership action plans, citizen assemblies, democracy trainers etc.
