Bolorsaikhan (Bo) Badamsambuu is a human rights defender, death penalty abolitionist, and civil rights activist in Mongolia. He serves as Secretary of the National Committee for Human Rights and Director of Committee Secretariat, and served as the Point-of-Contact of the Open Government Partnership Multistakeholder Forum in Mongolia from March 2023 – August 2024.
He has experienced numerous opportunities to work with a variety of professional teams, different stakeholders such as discriminated groups, national and international movements, communities and public institutions including legislature and gained his passion for social justice and equality. Bo has sixteen years of experience in human rights and social justice advocacy. He has deep involvement in justice and human rights education, not only as a lecturer, but also as a grassroot educator, continuously practicing and advocating the principles of education for people’s empowerment as he works with youth, women, minorities, other vulnerable and marginalized groups and civil society organizations. He is also actively involved in policy reform work on human rights legislation.
