On July 27, 2023, the Municipality of Gjakova established the Municipal Transparency Forum, an inclusive advisory mechanism for co-creation, coordination, and implementation of the Open Governance Action Plan.
The Municipal Transparency Forum consists of representatives from Gjakova’s executive and legislative branches, as well as members of local civil society organizations active in various fields. The Forum has several key functions:
- Developing the Action Plan: Defining key commitments for the Municipality to achieve within a specified timeframe.
- Hosting Regular Meetings: Providing a platform for members to discuss issues related to the commitments of the Action Plan.
- Creating a Collaborative Space: Facilitating cooperation between the Municipality, civil society organizations, and other groups and communities living and working in Gjakova.
