Community of Practice on Beneficial Ownership Transparency in Latin America

About

The Beneficial Ownership Community of Practice in Latin America brings together government officials and civil society organizations from Latin American countries working to advance beneficial ownership transparency through commitments in their OGP action plans. This group seeks to provide implementation support for beneficial ownership transparency commitments, disseminate and promote exchange between government and civil society organizations, and involve other countries of the region in the discussion and promote the use of the OGP platform to advance beneficial ownership transparency

This effort seeks to complement the Beneficial Ownership Leadership Group by acting as a stepping stone for countries in the region to build their internal networks and capacity, through peer learning efforts between these countries that share linguistic, cultural and often, political contexts. Supported by OGP and partners, the Community of Practice meets quarterly to discuss specific questions around implementation.
