He has led and transform many lives both national and international, he has led transform many organisations both national and international as a young person. Thanks Reverend Suma for following up on this. I am hopeful your application will be honoured, especially on account of your untiring support to the OGP process in country. It was under your aegis as Country Manager of WFD that we instituted the OGP Parliamentary Working Group and launched the first Open Parliament day. We have also succeeded in bringing a close relationship between Civil Society and Parliament. I am confident that your addition to the Global SC will be important for the OGP family in Sierra Leone. Diamond Suma has the willingness and ability to take ownership in a part of an organization and to continually do what is best for the organization. I have worked with Diamond Suma at Restless Development Sierra Leone on several level. Most recently, Diamond Suma was charged with the Responsibility to organize the RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT ALUMIN NETWORK into the GENERAL ANNUAL ASSEMBLY were he demostrated again his leadership and Good Governance Effectively. He’s a corporate leaders stand on a foundation of solid governance principles since I have known him. He have a clear mission and vision for the future and align his decisions with development. Diamond Suma has a specific strategy and help to create a corporate culture that’s conducive to success in this contemporary time. I sincerely thank the OGP Team for shortlisting me as a nominee for the OGP Global Steering Committee. It is both an honor and a privilege to be considered for such a vital role in advancing open government initiatives on a global scale.
I am deeply committed to transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement and fully dedicated to serving the OGP community with integrity and passion. If elected, I pledge to represent the interests and voices of our constituents to the best of my ability, advocating for inclusive policies and meaningful reforms that benefit people around the world.
My experience in the space has prepared me to contribute to the work of the Steering Committee effectively, and I am eager to collaborate with fellow members to drive positive change and promote open government practices globally.

Reverend Alusine Diamond-Suma, the WFD Country Director in Sierra Leone, has a demonstrably strong record of advocating for open governance and citizen participation. He currently serves on the OGP Steering Committee, highlighting his existing commitment and understanding of the organization’s goals.
Including a representative from Sierra Leone on the global committee would bring valuable local expertise and perspectives to the table. This individual would be well-positioned to ensure the OGP’s initiatives and policies are relevant and effective in the context of developing

I support Alusine Diamond Suma’s application given the critical role he plays in mobilizing CSOs in Sierra Leonne to actively engage Parliament on Legislative Openness. Through Alusine’s stewardship, The Parliament of Sierra Leone has launched an open Parliament App which ensures citizens can actively engage in the legislative process. Alusine is a peer at WFD and his commitment to having citizens voices elevated in legislative and governance processes is indeed commendable. I have followed Diamond’s work collaborating with the Parliament of Sierra Leone and other stakeholders through his role at the WFD to advance many groundbreaking initiatives that have contributed to better opening up the Sierra Leonean legislature.
