Creating an Enabling Environment for Civil Society (Discussion Notes)

On September 12, 2022, OGP convened the first meeting of the Democratic Freedoms Learning Network focused on the topic ‘Creating an Enabling Environment for Civil Society’.  Officials and civil society representatives from over 20 OGP countries attended the workshop, drawing on their diverse experiences and approaches to ensuring an enabling space for civil society. The meeting started with several lightning talks to introduce the topic and build the space to discuss and exchange.
