Greece End-of-Term Report 2016-2018 – For Public Comment

In Greece, the IRM’s findings are summarized below:
“Greece’s third national action plan included commitments from several ministries, civil society organizations, subnational governments and the parliament. However, most commitments saw limited levels of completionImplementers must follow through on their commitments for them to achieve impact. For each commitment, OGP’s Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) evaluates the degree to which the activities outlin... and a multi-stakeholder forumRegular dialogue between government and civil society is a core element of OGP participation. It builds trust, promotes joint problem-solving, and empowers civil society to influence the design, imple... did not become operational. The next action plan could benefit from focusing on fewer, more well-designed commitments as well as a stronger collaboration between the government and civil society organizations.”

“Το τρίτο εθνικό σχέδιο δράσης της Ελλάδας περιλαμβάνει δεσμεύσεις από διάφορα υπουργεία, οργανώσεις της κοινωνίας των πολιτών, την τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση και το κοινοβούλιο. Ωστόσο, οι περισσότερες δεσμεύσεις σημείωσαν περιορισμένο επίπεδο ολοκλήρωσης και ένα πολυμερές φόρουμ δεν έχει τεθεί σε λειτουργία. Το επόμενο σχέδιο δράσης θα μπορούσε να ωφεληθεί από την εστίαση σε λιγότερες, καλύτερα σχεδιασμένες δεσμεύσεις, καθώς και από μια στενότερη συνεργασία μεταξύ της κυβέρνησης και των οργανώσεων της κοινωνίας των πολιτών.”
