Macedonia Mid-Term Report 2016-2018 – For Public Comment
In Macedonia, findings from the IRM research team composed of Kiril Ristovski, Nenad Markovikj, and Natasa Serdarevikj of CED “Florozon” -Skopje are summarized below:
“Macedonia’s third national action plan was a result of a participatory process and covered diverse issues, ranging from whistleblower protection to budget transparencyAccording to OGP’s Articles of Governance, transparency occurs when “government-held information (including on activities and decisions) is open, comprehensive, timely, freely available to the pub... More. However, the potential impact and completionImplementers must follow through on their commitments for them to achieve impact. For each commitment, OGP’s Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) evaluates the degree to which the activities outlin... level of the 34 commitments varied. For the next action plan, the government could consider prioritizing the most ambitious and relevant commitments.”
And in Macedonian:
“Третиот национален акциски план на Македонија беше резултат на партиципативенпроцес со опфат на различни прашања рангирани од заштита на укажувачитедо транспарентност на буџетот на РМ. Сепак, потенцијалното влијание и степенот на исполнување на 34те заложби варираше. За следниот акциски план, владата би требало да се раководи по принципот на приоритет според најамбициозните и најрелевантните заложби.”
