i have been going through to get the 2018 FOI annual compliance report, but the most recent one available is that of 2017. May i be helped out with that of 2018?

Hi Usman,
Thanks for your question. I believe you’re referring to the FOIA Compliance for Annual Reporting commitment (https://www.opengovpartnership.org/members/nigeria/commitments/NG0010/) in this action plan. Unfortunately the IRM report isn’t yet available for this action plan, so we don’t have any information about the completion of this commitment yet. I recommend you reach out to the Government Point of Contact for Nigeria, who is based in the Freedom of Information Unit, for more information. Please let us know if you have any other questions. It would have been great if under the e-government policy theme, Nigeria could add “Digital Services” as an action point.
Access to digital information and digital services is pretty poor and tackling this will greatly help improve government accountability and transparency not to talk of improving Nigeria’s ease of doing business index ranking. Most services are domiciled on hard to discover physical forms.
