Advancing Open Government in the Caribbean
OGP and the OAS School of Governance are now accepting applications for their online course “Advancing Open Government in The Caribbean: Strategies and Tools to Increase Transparency and Citizen Participation in Public Policy” from July 6th to 29th, 2021.
This program aims to increase transparency and citizen participation in the design, development and implementation of public policies by promoting open government principles and practices in public administration.
This course is designed for public officials, policy makers, civil society representatives, public tech entrepreneurs and private sector participants from Caribbean OAS Member States with a position to influence and become agents of change for the promotion of open government principles and practices in their institutions and communities. The training includes lectures, workshops, presentations and group discussions related to the implementation of open government strategies and practices.
