América Abierta

For the first time, Open Americas/America Abierta will be held in Brazil, bringing together renowned international meetings focused on topics such as transparency, access to information, open government, civic technologies, data journalism, government digital, accountability, equity, and emerging technologies.

With a unique work proposal based on flexible and traditional formats to connect civil society and government stakeholders, Open Americas includes a set of national and international activities, such as the annual regional conferences on open data – ABRELATAM/CONDATOS, CODA. Br, Brazil Data Week and the OGP Regional Meeting.

Open Americas is organized by the Latin American Open Data Initiative (ILDA), the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Open Government Partnership (OGP). This year, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will also participate.
