Open Gov Week 2023

A global call to action to transform the way governments serve their citizens

Over the past five years open government reformers have organized more than 1,300 Open Gov Week events in over 70 countries ranging from public debates, to hackathons, to webinars and more. 

For a week in May, reformers in and outside of government will come together to think of solutions to their most pressing problems. We know that when we all come together the OGP model works. That is why we are also using this week to launch OGP’s new five-year strategy that seeks to expand and empower the community, making open government the norm across all levels and branches of government and becoming a hub of stories and inspiration.

Let’s use this moment to advance open government and bring this energy to the 2023 OGP Global Summit in Estonia, where our community of reformers, doers, and thinkers will come together to be partners in democracy.
