The Values Check assessment only applies to countries that have yet to join OGP and does not affect countries that are already OGP participating countries. To assess the Values Check, OGP employs two indicators from the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) ‘Dataset on Democracy‘: CSO Entry and Exit and CSO Repression.
