Description
2.1. Communication activities on opportunities for participation in public administration Under the leadership of the SAO, purposeful public information activities are carried out to promote understanding of the types of participation and forms of public involvement. At least one activity is targeted at young people and is organized jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science
2.2. Communication activities on opportunities for participation in sectors and municipalities Ministries shall explain to their target groups and partners, as well as to their citizens and NGOs, how they can participate in their work and decision-making processes, highlighting the benefits of involvement, and use, where appropriate, common messages and materials relevant to public administration as a whole.
2.3. NGO Day Every year, on the NGO Day, the industry organizes events in co-operation with the SAO, introducing civil society to current events in the industry and opportunities for co-operation and participation.
2.4. Youth participation skills in decision-making in Latvia and at European level , including the renewal of the Youth Saeima and the strengthening of youth participation in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities
2.5. Implementing participatory budgeting in schools , including local authorities, by encouraging young people to acquire a range of skills, financial literacy and environmental responsibility
