Faces of Open Government: Madrid
Since joining OGP Local in 2016, Madrid has worked to enhance open government with civil society. We spoke with city leaders about their journey and what’s next in their fourth OGP action plan.
Angela is a civil servant with over 18 years of experience in Spanish public administration. She holds a Degree in Law and Business Administration, and a Master’s in Public Management from the National Institute of Public Administration. Currently, she serves as the Director General of Transparency and Quality at the Madrid City Council, where she has led the development of the city’s 4th OGP action plan. She manages diverse teams and has worked on legal matters, international affairs, and transparency.
