Asma Cherifi is the founding CEO of TACID Network in 2011, focusing on civism and development with the mission to build new governance model based on HR & democratic values, accountability and transparency. She is the project manager of “Tunisia for Nobel Price 2015” and co-founder member of two regional coalitions: ANSA-AW, the Arab Network for Social Accountability in the MENA region, and CAFDO, the African Francophone Open Data Conference.
She is a field researcher and advocate towards a peaceful and democratic Africa & MENA.
She is supporting several African Francophone Countries and MENA countries to draft Open Policies, design innovate solution and to implement Open Reform.
She is a regional expert with the African Governance Architecture (AGA) Secretariat, of the African Union Commission, she support the secretary
- in the organization of the 2016 Regional Youth Consultation, which focused on the rights of women in Africa under the theme “Promoting Young People’s Rights towards the Attainment of Agenda 2063”,
- Open Gov Expert of African Union action plan 2016-2018 ,
- Technical expert of the consultation on leveraging youth capacities for the fight against corruption
Asma is a member of the OGP Civil Society Steering Committee.
