Brendan Howlin

Brendan Howlin was appointed as the Republic of Ireland’s Minister for Public Expenditure & Reform in March 2011. A former school teacher, Minister Howlin was elected to the Seanad Eireann (Irish Senate) in 1982 and has been a member of the principal chamber, the Dáil Éireann since 1987.
