Dr. Adegboyega Ojo

Dr. Adegboyega Ojo is Senior Research Fellow and leads the E-Government Group at Insight Centre for Data Analytics, National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), Republic of Ireland. He is also Principal Investigator of a number of European Union Projects (FP7 and H2020). His current research investigates conditions and factors for data-driven innovation in government and the society. Before his current role, he worked as Academic Program Officer, Research Fellow and Post-doctoral Fellow at the Center for Electronic Governance, United Nations University – International Institute for Software Technology (UNU). Adegboyega has published widely in the areas of Strategies, Architecture and Standards, Measurement, Software Infrastructure and Whole-of-Government models for E-Government. Before his international engagements, he was Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, where he earlier earned his Doctorate and Bachelor degrees. His work has directly benefitted several governments including in Macao, Korea, Mongolia, Cameroon and Nigeria as well as United Nations organizations such as UNDESA/DPADM.
