Frida Quevedo joined the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in October 2024 as a Gender & Inclusion Programme Officer. She supports the Feminist Open Government initiative, focusing on integrating gender, inclusion, and youth perspectives across OGP’s thematic and country work. Her role includes advocating for the adoption of Open Gov Challenge commitments that advance these priorities.

Before joining OGP, Frida led the participatory process for the development of 10 Urban Development Plans at UN-Habitat in Mexico, ensuring gender and inclusion considerations were incorporated at all stages. She also worked with Fundación IDEA to promote policies aimed at ensuring women’s access to a life free from violence in Mexico and across Latin America.

Frida holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
