Isabella Lövin
Isabella Lövin is the Minister for International Development Cooperation at Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She is an acclaimed journalist and author and was elected in 2009 to be a Member of the European Parliament, where she served until 2014. A leading member of the Greens in the Fisheries and Development Committees, Lövin was involved in the reform of the EU Common Fisheries Policy. She was also special rapporteur on the external dimension of the Common Fisheries Policy and the role of the EU in fighting illegal fisheries globally. Since 2015, Lövin has served as co-chair of the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding.
