Jorge Chicaiza is the Director of Territorial Planning for the Provincial Government of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador.
Economist from Central University of Ecuador with a Master’s in Project Management from the Armed Forces University ESPE. He has completed specialized courses in budgetary policies and results-based governance at the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES CEPAL) in Santiago, Chile, and in project foresight at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City.
With 10 years of experience in strategic planning, results-based governance, project finance, public-private partnerships, and open government, he has held positions as an analyst, specialist, strategic management coordinator, local information system coordinator, and director of territorial planning in the public sector.
