Kyende Kinoti joined the Open Government Partnership in June 2022.
Kyende supports the successful execution of the Open Government Leadership Collaborative (OGLC). She oversees all stages of the OGLC program including; planning for each cohort, inducting participants, facilitating the curriculum’s delivery, engaging with alumni, and exploring opportunities to grow and scale the program and its impact.
Prior to the OGP, Kyende was a Summit Consultant and Trainer at Feedback Labs — NGO engendering client feedback as the norm in development, aid, philanthropy, and nonprofits. As a Summit Consultant, she managed a team of four full-time staff and one intern, in addition to supporting 50+ conference speakers, to successfully execute the Summit’s programmatic landscape. As a Feedback Trainer, she advised and trained 140+ staff from 40+ organizations on improving client services, achieving key performance indicators, and measuring impact. She also conceptualized a three-year product strategy by examining financial viability and appraising customer retention.
Kyende is a Morehead-Cain Scholar and holds a Bachelor of Arts with highest honors and highest distinction in global studies, with minors in history and French — her research
highlighting the gendered effects of environmental degradation in Kenya was published in the Global Africana Review.
