Michael P. Cañares

Michael is Regional Research Manager for Asia at Open Data Lab Jakarta. He has more than fifteen years of research and development work experience in urban poverty, infrastructure governance, and climate change. His current research interest is open data and local governance, and has led the design and implementation of different projects sought to harness the power of open data in order to achieve financial transparency and better public service delivery at the local level.
