Nino Verzosa
Angelito Niño Verzosa Jr. is the Program Manager of International Center for Innovation, Transformation and Excellence in Governance’s (or INCITEGov) Constructive Engagement Program. His work focuses on facilitating collaboration among democratic institutions of government, citizens, communities, civil society and the private sector. Niño started his work in OGP as the former coordinator of the CSO Secretariat for Public Fiscal Reform at the Philippines’ OGP steering committee in 2014-2016 which actively worked for the crafting of the 1st co-created national action plan with the Philippine Government (3rd NAP). He is now the focal person for the institution’s commitments in the OGP on budget reform and citizen participation.
He is also involved in the advocacy program of INCITEGov on Strengthening Social Protection in the Philippines through Citizen and CSO engagement supported by the European Union. He finished his Masteral Degree in Public Administration specializing on Public Fiscal Administration from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Governance from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
