Rowan Sockwell

Rowan joined OGP’s Policy and Partnerships team in August 2024. She provides strategic support to the OGP Steering Committee and contributes to OGP’s mission by coordinating high-level stakeholder engagement and governance processes.

With experience working and studying in Armenia, China, the U.K., and Uruguay, Rowan has developed expertise in international affairs spanning issue areas from civic participation to information integrity. Most recently, Rowan contributed to democratic governance and human rights missions at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and Amnesty International USA. She holds a Master’s in International Social & Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Spanish.
