Advocacy and Communications Coordinator at the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD)

Ruth-Marie Henckes is the Advocacy and Communications Coordinator at the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD). Ruth has worked on democracy support for the past 3 years after graduating in Comparative Politics from Leuven University and International Studies at Leiden University. Through her work, Ruth connects a variety of stakeholders for collective action on different policy issues related to democracy in EU external relations, within the EU, and in the digital space. Ruth also conducts research into the different sectors of democracy support, democracy policy and civic space.
