Shahid Farooq

Shahid Farooq is a public service practitioner in Punjab province of Pakistan. He joined Provincial Management Services in 1999 and worked on many challenging positions at national, sub-national, and local tiers of government, and corporate bodies in Pakistan. Currently he is working as Chief (Governance & IT) at Planning & Development Department of Government of the Punjab. He is responsible for planning and supervision of ICT based interventions in public sector in the province. He is an open government advocate and focal person for Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Punjab, Pakistan. Shahid holds an MPA in ‘Global e-Policy & e-Government’ from SKKU South Korea.
