Open Gov Challenge: Ukraine

Implement a Whole-of-Government Anti-Corruption Strategy

What’s the issue? Ukraine’s 2021-2025 Anti-Corruption Strategy identifies 15 priority areas with a high risk of corruption. One example is the lack of effective verification for beneficial ownership information.

What’s the plan? The government will tackle 73 identified problems across the priority areas. A crucial tool for success is a new monitoring platform. The platform provides detailed data on problems and outcomes, with quarterly progress updates.

Why is this ambitious? This commitment can ensure that implementation of the whole-of-government anti-corruption strategy is done transparently, enabling public oversight and feedback on its progress.

Learn more about the commitment from Zavhorodnia Tetiana in Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention.
