Reminder: Upcoming OGP Deadlines

New two-year National Action Plans are currently being drawn up in two batches of countries – the Cohort 2 countries that joined OGP in Brasilia in 2012 and the Cohort 4 countries that are the newest entrants to OGP.
The dates and deadlines for your diary are as follows:
April 30th: Draft national action plans sent to OGP Support UnitThe OGP Support Unit is a small, permanent group of staff that work closely with the Steering Committee and the Independent Reporting Mechanism to advance the goals of the Open Government Partnership.... for feedback.
May 6-7th: Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting in Bali where countries update on their progress and present draft action plans.
May 8-9th: Europe Regional Meeting in Dublin where countries update on their progress and present draft action plans.
June 15th: Countries upload new action plans to OGP website.
July 1st: Countries begin implementing new action plans.
Throughout this period governments should continue to consult and engage civil society to ensure the action plans reflect the shared national priorities of a country.
